What is your favorite part about pottery?: My favorite part about pottery is the communication that happens between the potter and the clay. When working with clay, a time to listen and be heard. It's a time to reset and let the creative process take over. It's also a time to make mistakes, learn, and grow. There is always something new to learn and I never get bored.

Tell us about yourself and your pottery journey: When I was in college I took a photography and pottery class through the local rec center and pottery guild in Boulder. Photography didn’t stick, but I fell in love with clay. It's been a long journey since then taking classes at rec centers in Boulder and Denver, through ACC and Anderson Ranch, teaching pottery classes, and eventually building my own studio at home. The journey is not over and I can't wait to see what it brings next.
